About Me

Jade Willison is the founder of Jayelle Wellbeing where her role as a mental health practitioner specialising in behavioural therapy, aims to reengage young people in life and within the school environment. In doing so, Jade aims to empower and inspire young people to discover and direct their passions through a range of physical, social, and creative activities. At Jayelle Wellbeing, young people are challenged to adventure beyond their comfort zones and instead, are encouraged to explore their internal dialogue and its implications on their outward journey.  This journey takes place through set activities that build coping mechanisms for stress and anxiety, form resilience, support emotional regulation and transform the minds of individuals into a mindset that fosters positive outward change.

Our Story

My experience working with people through the mental health and wellbeing sector is vast and varied. Beginning my journey in the social services sector at The Queen Elizabeth Centre, introduced me to the struggles faced by individuals and their families, notably working with individuals experiencing childhood trauma, family violence, stress and anxiety, and depression (including post-natal depression). After a time, my focus became more so on the wellbeing and empowerment of individuals. This practice of inspiring young people was then solidified when I began working with Headspace through the school environment and working at the NDIS in their behaviour support space. Today you can find me working with clients through individual group work, providing individuals with wellbeing support and working in the school setting running a range of activities that reengage young people in our community.
